‘The world belongs to those who read’ This quote says it all. I’m a bookworm, life happens to me because I turn those pages. We talked about MINIMALISM last week, and this week let me introduce you to some books to learn about it.
The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up
Of course Marie Kondo would be first in my recommendation! She teaches about decluttering with the idea of ‘Does it spark Joy?’. You started with a big mess, but by keeping only things that give you joy will end up with a bigger rewards
Decluttering at the Speed of Life
If you cannot start with a big mess, this book is for you. This book will teach you how to declutter from one small space at a time. It might take a longer time, but for people who are busy, the methods are definitely doable. “You can only own as many items that will fit neatly in the designated space.”
Goodbye, Things
I love how he gives his perspective on how minimalism changed his life by saying goodbye to things he doesn’t need and gaining true freedom, new focus and sense of gratitude in everything around him. He is not an expert in organizing, he is a regular guy just like us who decided to change his life, someone we can relate to.
I hope you enjoy this reading list, and find new meaning in simplicity. :)
